Step Three:  Monitoring and maintenance

Monitoring regimes are discussed during training. If you need a little more assistance, we offer 3 monthly checks-ins as ongoing maintenance options.

Salt pool conversion

Step One: Removal of dissolved salt

To convert the pool, the existing salt levels in the pool needs to be lowered.

We refer to the salt levels as TDS (total dissolved solids) and we measure these in parts per million (PPM).

TDS levels in salt pools typically range from 3000 – 5000 PPM.

In order gain the most benefits of the magnesium minerals we need to lower the TDS to around 1500 PM.

Step Two:  Lowering the water and topping it back up

Removing the pool water in a swimming pool may require the expertise of a professional pool technician.

Once the pool is topped back up with fresh water, we will perform a TDS test.

This test determines the amount of minerals that will need to be added back to the pool water.

Generally, 3-4 bags (10kg) are required for the average 50,000 litre pool.

Step Three:  After conversion care and maintenance

Once converted the pool will only require 2-4 bags of minerals per year for full functionality and there is no need for chemical additions anymore.

Clear Water magnesium mineral pools work at a low 900 ppm. This means that there is a 70% reduction in chemical use and spending compared to a traditional salt pool.

The Clear Water Pool system maintains the pool’s PH levels to ensure that the water is gentle on skin and eyes.

Superb Water Quality

“Our children have sensitive skin and can swim for hours every day in our Clear Water Mineral pool. Our water is now crystal clear, and we haven’t had to add minerals.   I’ve talked to friends with pools and in comparison, our system is cheap and simple to run. 12 months on, our pool interior is a lovely light colour.

Best decision we made and highly recommend the product.”

“We converted our pool to a Clear Water Mineral System, and it is just awesome!  Traditional salt water chlorinated pool had aggravated our children’s eczema condition to the point that they could not swim. Changing to a clear water mineral system was a gamble but we’re delighted by the results.  The water is soothing to the skin and pleasant to swim in.  Best of all the water doesn’t impact on our children’s skin condition.  Highly recommend this product to anyone.
